Catherine Haylock Yoga

Hi, I’m Catherine

I was introduced to meditation early in life, and from the start I felt a deep connection to the mystical and spiritual path.

In 1996 I discovered Ashtanga Yoga, and it has been part of my life ever since. I immersed myself in asana, philosophy and pranayama, and soon began teaching.

Back then yoga knowledge wasn’t packaged into teacher trainings the way it is today, so I gathered it piece by piece, from many teachers and many different sources.

My first journey to Mysore in 2005 turned into a life-changing year, studying with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and Sharath Jois, and I returned year after year to keep deepening the practice.

The curiosity kept expanding. In 2013 I began studying Yoga Therapy with Yogacampus, becoming a recognised therapist (CNHC, C-IAYT), and later completed my Master’s in the Traditions of Yoga and Meditation at SOAS University, diving into the philosophies of Jainism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Daoism.
